The weird habit of liking unapproachable people

Today I was talking to a classmate. We are not that close, but sometimes we talk about random things.
In the class, we are 20 girls and only 6 boys. Yes, poor boys. I don’t know how they put up with so many girls. But it is understandable, very few boys, at least here, study philology.
The fact is, she told me that she likes a classmate who I don’t remember his name. I know his last name starts with Z. I just remember that.
We have another girl, and she told me that he is the typical boy who is very conquering. They have known each other since the first year of school. And he was always like that. That custom was always in its depths.
And I wonder, what do we find interesting, both men and women (men have feelings, leave stereotypes, not wanting to show them is something else), to people who seem inaccessible?
And again, respecting the law of being a contradiction with legs, I answer myself.
Maybe because we think that we can change something in that person? That the person will change with us?
And I just remembered a crush I had. I was never good for the subjects with numbers. Just for history, it does have numbers. Or not?
I was always a dreamer. I was always in my clouds. I still am. And he was totally the opposite. He hated all the subjects that I liked, and still do, and vice versa. I was about 11 years old at that time. And my innocent mind came to think that by magic he was going to Fall in love, that we could complement each other.
But my parents constantly compared me to him. And they helped me in a way to stop liking him.
Some 2 or so months ago, I came across one of his best friends. He’s basically studying to be a cop.
And I don’t know what I was going to say anymore. Well at least I hope he doesn’t fine me. Rofl
